Commercial / Residential
Maintenance
At
Harmony Landscape, we pride ourselves with delivering outstanding service
to our clients. We use only high-end equipment and meticulous trucks.
We are New York State Certified for commercial Pesticide Application. We
use an IPM program (Integrated Pest Management) which uses pesticide as only
a small part of the overall program. The program includes proper selection
of grass seed, proper fertilization, mowing with sharp blades at the correct
hight, proper watering, and the use of pesticide only when necessary. For
example, a common problem weed on Long Island, the white clover, thrives
in a lawn that is lacking nitrogen. Proper fertilization with limited
herbicide (if needed) will eliminate the clovers from the lawn.
Our commercial clients include some of the top companies on Long
Island.

Landscape
Design
Did you know that having your home or business
professionally landscaped can increase your property value by 15%
or more?
It's true. A professional landscape will increase your property's value
and will make it more attractive and inviting.
We have set up on
online portfolio
for you to browse through. There are several "before and after" pictures,
as well as samples of rockwalls and railroad tie retaining walls. You
may see a special shrub that you want to use in your design...let us know
about it!
We hand pick all of the plants and specimens that we use from
local Long Island nurseries to guarantee the highest quality in each
shrub. We custom design each landscape to fit the customer's budget
and personal taste.
We offer many options for retaining walls for your garden.
Rock walls made from stacking gray Pennsylvania Fieldstone are very
popular. The stone is available in several different colors such as
red, lilac, white, and others.

If railroad ties are what you want, you can choose from 4x4 or 6x6 pressure treated, 4x4 cedar (has to be sealed), or 4x4 landscape timbers. The landscape timbers have rounded edges.

We offer many
options for ground cover between shrubs. The ground cover is layed
over weed prevention fabric, so your beds will stay weed free. Pine
bark nuggets or mulch looks great and has the pleasent scent of pine.
You can choose from many different stones:
3/4" redstone
3/4" whitestone
3/4" blustone
3/4" gravel
3/4" timberlite
3/4" carnation pink
3/8" redstone
3/8" bluestone
3/8" pea gravel
A cubic yard of stone will cover an area approximately 160 sq ft at a depth
of 2"
